Sullivan County Comprehensive Recreation, Parks, & Greenway Plan
The Sullivan County Comprehensive Recreation, Parks & Greenway Plan was completed in May 2022.
The plan serves as a blueprint for parks, open space and natural resources protection and preservation in Sullivan County, identifying existing resources and potential gaps that could be used as a framework for recreational growth in both the private and public sector.
Pennsylvania Outdoor Recreation Plan
DCNR has finalized Pennsylvania’s next Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (PDF) -- the blueprint for delivering outdoor recreation services through 2024.
The 2020-2024 outdoor recreation plan is being used by state agencies, local governments, and other recreation providers to guide outdoor recreation programs, policies, and projects.

The Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America250PA) was established by the legislature and Governor in 2018 to plan, encourage, develop and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Pennsylvania’s integral role in that event, and the impact of its people on the nation’s past, present, and future.
